Just some random things that have been going on:

I think I just may have found my soulmate. I'm definitely in love, 100 percent. We're getting an apartment together in Dunwoody in January.

Speaking of which, I go in for my second interview with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society..I'm really excited about returning to the non-profit sector, if all works out. I'm pretty sure they want me on as a Lobbyist or something very akin to it through advocacy, works for me. Up until this point, I was starting to hit some real emotional lows on the job search, and depression was starting to set in.

The band has changed pretty significantly, we have a new drummer, named Brandon, and Andy is gonna start playing guitar with us which will add a killer new element.

The new Deftones album is amazing and has renewed SOME of my faith in mainstream music...SOME. I still have alot of misgivings about whats coming out these days, but at least somebody is putting out music that gives me some hope that our own material might succeed some day.

Their show was equally as good, thanks for going with me A-Rag <3

I want a Bull Terrier for the new apartment, but I refuse to buy from a Breeder...I will not do it.
I'll probably have to settle for another kind of dog. But that's okay. A Beagle sure would be cute to have again or a Doberman Pinscher.

Yay for a Democratically controlled congress.

I have not updated in a long time.

But anyway, here I am.
What's new?

I have a degree now. BS in Political Science. I work in the field currently, trying to oust Lynn Westmoreland from Congress under the Mike McGraw campaign.

It's enjoyable work for the most part, but I still dream of music.

Speaking of which, my album is available now....www.cdbaby.com/overwhelmed2

The band is still doing great, we're having to audition new drummers right now, but that's going pretty well too. We've had some very strong potentials come through so far, but we're taking all comers, so if anybody knows of a drummer, send em my way.

hmm, what else?

We did really well in Open Mic Madness at Smith's Olde bar, knocking out three bands and making it to the fourth round. Getting to play to a packed Smith's Olde Bar late Friday night.

We're gonna play on the 23rd up at Sweetwater with Muuhda. So, in comes another exciting show.

shoot, I dunno ask me some questions and I'll give you some answers, promise.

I'm one exam away from being done with college forever. If I do well enough, I'm sure to graduate Magna Cum Laude. It's a pretty cool feeling to finally be done with school with the rest of my life.

Everyone keeps asking me, "what's the plan?"
To which I respond...."I don't really have one right now, just kinda going with the flow" I'm gonna enjoy this summer. I can't afford to just blow my life stressing over every last detail. If I went straight from school to the working world, I'd be burning myself out. Don't get me wrong, the job hunt begins now, but I'll figure it out...I always do.

I'm planning on making a trip to Orlando right after graduation. Yay Islands of Adventure!! My gift to myself. See you soon Whitney. <3

The new Tool album is really boring, and hearing that song on radio every five seconds isn't making me like it any better.

Dredg did not play well at the Masquerade last Friday night which made me sad, Ours on the other hand was beyond kick-ass.

Next Sunday, I'm going to see my third favorite guitarist Allen Epley, when his band, The Life and Times play at MJQ. Pretty exciting, I owe him a round.

I'm thinking about buying my Mom some Huey Lewis/Chicago tickets for Mother's day....depending on the cost...cause I gotta get two, so both she and Dad can go...ehh..we'll see how money shakes out.

Album release might be put off by a few months, depending on how these negotiations go with Smith's...I hope they work out, cause I wanna play there pretty bad, BUT it takes two to tango on these things.

So who misses me and wants to hang?

Btw...here are the shows for the next three months

Nov 25th - Breakers (our last show there EVER!!!!) - opening up for Rehab (gag)

Dec 29th - 10 high (with Jesse Harden's band Mercury Drop) This is the show that I REALLLLLLYYY need everyone to come out to, like bar none...this is the one that will make or break my career in the Atlanta scene basically. I need about 40 people...can we do it? I'll love you forever for it...

Jan 14th - Sweetwater (this band from Athens asked us to play their cd release show)

AND hopefully...in February...a show at the Masquerade with Sovus Radio, Kill Gordon and April Invention....we'll see on that one.

We bought our tapes yesterday...so we now officially own the masters of our music. Which was great news to hear. Now comes to the process of finding a mixer.
I know who my guys want...*hint hint* he's the dude in my icon...for those in the know on my personal music taste. Harlan has at least been emailing him...we'll see....I never thought Matt Talbott would produce my album, so I'll never say never....

In other news, I'm definitely graduating in May...HIYOOOOOHHH!!!! Four more classes to go after this semester and I am DONE!
And I got my internship with Senator Valencia Seay for the Spring! Yay!
